The Centre for International Cooperation and Development Studies (IDC) at the Faculty of Political Science - University of Bucharest invites interested undergraduate and graduate students of political science to join the research internship programme within the international project Political Agendas in the Study of Political Science in Europe, developed by the centre for the Research Committee 33 (The Study of Political Science as a discipline) of the International Political Science Association (IPSA) in order to contribute to the RC33 initiative Global Study on the Development of Political Science.
Deadline for submitting applications: 15 January 2016

Activities: Bibliographical research, building a database of texts for analysis
Skills required: Basic bibliographical research, Google Docs, English (reading B2/C1)
Skills developed through the internship: English-language bibliographical research, building research notes, use of cloud apps for research purposes, basic project management
Includes: 1 research seminar

Data coding (240-300h)
Activities: Coding texts in the database for analysis
Skills required: Basic bibliographical research, Google Docs, English (reading B2/C1), logical thinking, attention to detail
Skills developed through the internship: research methodology, qualitative and quantitative coding for the analysis of texts, basic project management
Includes: 1 advanced research seminar
